Wednesday October 18th

Grass Creek Beach cleanup day (For Club Members )

time: 10: AM to 2:PM

we will be meeting at Grass creek park at 10AM to do a beach clean-up day

address is- 2991 HWY 2, Kingston Ontario K7L4V1

this is a fairly small beach in a large park. I would like to try and get a minimum 10 individuals out to this in order to show the community that our club appreciates the area and shows that detectorists also help to clean up our public spaces. We would like to continue this on a yearly basis picking new destinations throughout the region each year. we all do our part every time we go detecting when discarding trash at every site we dig throughout the season, however as many of us know the public can still look at detectorists in a negative light. So this is hopefully not only doing good for the community by cleaning our local beaches, but hopefully the public will look at detectorists in a different light in the coming years.

sign up required to attend this event

cost is: $0.00

free water on site
